Hello, I'm wrestling with the hylafax program that came with BSD/OS unix version 2.1 Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have successfully got it faxing out flat text files, but what I really need it to do is fax TIFF files as it says it will do. Though the on-line docs on your web site refer to the tiff2fax program, it is not anywhere on my system. I cannot determine what version I have of your software, but I suspect it is not the "latest", so it may not require the tiff2fax portion. When I try to to fax a TIFF document, I'm getting various errors in my attempts. The email reports: using: sendmail -d 7554884 /usr/local/documents/main5u.tif Your facsimile job to +18047554884 was rejected because: Not a bilevel image (bits/sample 8) ---- Unsent job status ---- Destination: +18047554884 Sender: System Administrator Mailaddr: root@HAL.bznet.com Submitted From: 127.0.0.1 Page Width: 215 (mm) Page Length: 279 (mm) Resolution: 98 (lpi) Status: Not a bilevel image (bits/sample 8) Dialogs: 0 (exchanges with remote device) Dials: 0 (consecutive failed calls to destination) Calls: 0 (total phone calls placed) Attempts: 0 (attempts to send current page) Dirnum: 0 (directory of next page to send) ---- Unsent files submitted for transmission ---- Not sure if my TIF file is hosed, or if my config is wrong. Have no other TIFF file to test with. Any hints? Jeff
