So let me ask it like this: what is the formats of these files and what are legal values for the "tags"? All the manual says is: HylaFAX client applications can be tailored on a per-user and per-site basis through configuration files. Per-site controls are placed in the file /usr/con- trib/lib/hylafax/hyla.conf, while per-user controls go in ~/.hylarc. Configuration files have a simple format and are entirely ASCII. A configuration parameter is of the form tag: value where a tag identifies a parameter and a value is either a string, number, or boolean value. So I put this in our hyla.conf file: FAXSERVER: fax.gilasoft.com SNPPSERVER: fax.gilasoft.com It doesn't seem to do anything. Thanks for any help, -- Steven.
